Swartzberg Family Camp Staff Scholarship
OVERVIEW:
The Swartzberg Family has graciously offered support to our camp staff who choose to pursue higher education. We are happy to be able to offer assistance to camp staff members in good standing who go above and beyond during their time on staff.
AWARD COMPONENTS:
Awards will range in value from $1,000-$3,000 per year. Once awarded, applicants can continue to be funded for up to 3 additional years so long as they meet the criteria listed below.
CRITERIA:
- Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate degree from a college, university, trade school, or career college in the upcoming school year.
- Applicant must demonstrate a consistent positive impact at camp. We will also evaluate your involvement in the community and at school.
- Applicants must maintain a GPA of 2.75 or above at all times to receive continued funding.
- Applicant must be present on the camp staff for a total of 35 days during the summer camping season for each season they are awarded.
DEADLINE:
- 2025 Scholarship applications are due on August 22, 2025, by the end of the day. No exceptions.

NOTES:
Scholarship funds will be awarded to the student upon evidence of registration in classes. This includes the student identification number and correct address of the school’s Bursar's Office.
