Early Bird Deadline and Discounts
- Camp spots purchased by the early bird deadline of April 28th will be discounted at the Early Bird Rate and given a free camp hat.
- Each troop will receive one free leader for summer camp. An additional free leader will be given for every 10 scouts the unit brings to camp.
- Scouts that have crossed over AFTER the Early Bird date can still receive the discounted rate as long as it is paid before June 1.
Camperships
Financial assistance for BOTH IN AND OUT-OF-COUNCIL YOUTH is available through The Richard J. Ball Campership Program. Applications can be submitted starting March 1st and are due April 15th. Go to www.erieshorescouncil.org/ESCCS for more information and to apply online.
Refund Policy
SUMMER CAMP SPOTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE PURCHASED, however, they may be transferred to another Scout who is attending camp on a one-to-one basis. Refunds for medical reasons or a family emergency may be requested online at www.PSRweb.org/RefundRequest within 2 weeks after your unit’s week at camp. If approved, funds will be sent back to the Unit less 15%. All refunds will be mailed out after September 1st.
Meal Plans
Plan A: Dining Hall
We will do all the cooking for you! Your Troop will enjoy meals at the camp dining hall hot and ready to eat. the dining hall meal plan also offers a wide variety of selections on our morning breakfast bar and dinner salad bar that are outside of the normal published menu.
Plan B: Patrol Cooking
The camp will provide the food and deliver it to your campsite. Your unit is responsible for cooking all meals except dinners on Sunday and Friday, which will be in the dining hall. The camp will provide limited equipment however, you may want to bring some of your own favorite cooking utensils.
Plan C: Bring Your Own Food
The camp will provide limited refrigeration, and your unit will provide everything else. Unlimited FREE ice is available at both the Trading Post and Quartermaster to keep food cold in the campsite.
